Payment by Cheque
We accept payment by Sterling cheque drawn on UK bank accounts. Payment from outside the UK will require a Certified Cheque in GBP currency. Maps will be posted only after cheques have been cleared at the bank. An invoice will be provided on request.
Payment by PayPal
Payment by PayPal is the very convenient. PayPal was developed by eBay to enable secure, rapid transactions exchanging all currencies between individuals and small businesses. It has expanded to provide the same excellent service beyond the eBay world. All purchases with PayPal use e-mail invoicing which is a reliable, simple and secure service. PayPal lets you use your credit card or debit card to make payments. You will need to provide your preferred credit or debit card during a secure transaction, but you do not need to be a PayPal account holder to use this service. Read about PayPal Privacy.
Upon our confirmation that the map, book or illustration is available and your acceptance of the price including postage, we will send a PayPal invoice by e-mail. The secure e-mail from PayPal will instruct you to select your preferred payment method and complete the transaction. A receipt confirming payment will be sent to you by e-mail. Orders will be posted on the same or next day on our receipt of the PayPal payment confirmation.
Geolmaps.com has no affiliation with PayPal. PayPal acts as a Merchant Service for clients of Geolmaps.com. This service is offered as a convenience for our clients world wide. PayPal provides currency conversion for all transactions. There is no buyer's fee for PayPal services.

VAT is not chargeable in UK on published material or second hand items.
Shipping
Maps, sections and books will be safely packaged and posted upon receipt of payment. Postage and packing will be charged at cost. The cost of posting options will be advised at the time of placing the order. Insurance is automatically covered through our business insurance and that there is no extra charge on the postage.
Return Policy
While descriptions of maps, sections, books are clear and accurate, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned for a full refund, if notice is received within seven days of your receipt of the parcel. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the purchase safely packed and adequately insured.

On the sale of any map, book or illustration Nineteenth Century Geological Maps, (Geolmaps) retains the non-exclusive rights to use photographs or any form of digital image for the express purpose of marketing or selling Geolmaps' goods.
