Durchschnitte von Deutschland/Cross-sections of Germany. c.1828. 62cm x 49cm (24.5"x19.5") Hand coloured lithographs on flat cartridge paper. With minor marginal tears neatly repaired and very slight foxing. Shows four sections: 1. Besigheim on the River Enz through Wurzburg, the Thuringer Wald, Gotha, Kalbe to Barby on the River Elbe; 2. From Osterhofen on the Danube through Prague (!), the Riesengebirge to Glagau on the River Oder; 3. From Buchsberg near the River Weser through Brocken in the Harzgebirge, Pegau to the Bohemian Mittelgebirge; and 4. From the Eifel and Mosel through Darmstadt, Frankenau, Eichstadt to the the Danube.  In good to very good condition.
